    The Walking Dead: Here is what you need to know about the final episodes

    Based on the comic book series with the same name, written by Tony Moore, Robert Kirkman, and Charlie Adlard, they are the actual creators of the core of The Walking Dead television universe. This exciting series brings you a large ensemble cast, you can call them a survivor of zombies apocalypse, they are desperately trying to stay alive, living in a constant threat of being attacked by zombies known as “walkers”. The modern civilization has collapsed, and all these survivors need to confront other human survivors as they have formed their own set of rules and regulations as well as the society and community causing hostile conflict between them.

    The lead character Rick Grimes is played by Andrew Lincoln, one of the longest surviving characters who stayed till the ninth season. Yes, there are a few more people who have been able to survive for a long time, it includes Chandler Riggs, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan,  Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun,  Danai Gurira, Seth Gilliam, and Ross Marquand.

    This exciting series is produced in the state of Georgia by AMC studios, outdoor spaces of Riverwood Studios near Senoia, Georgia have been properly utilized to do most of the filming of this series. In the initial stage, the series was taken from the comic by Frank Darabont, who can be seen as showrunner in the very first season, but due to some conflicts between Darabont and AMC, he left the series, causing various legal actions to take place. It all started on October 31, 2010, on cable channel AMC in the United States, and it premiered on Fox Networks Group and Disney+ for international viewers.

    What do we need to know about the final episodes?

    The eleventh and final season premiered on August 22, 2021, you can expect it to conclude on November 20, 2022. Starting with its 3rd season, 18 to 49-year-old viewers were attracted by the series, regardless of the cable or broadcast television series, there was a little bit of decline in later seasons.     Season 11 part 1 was first seen by the fans on August 23, 2021, and on on February 21, 2022, the second set of 8 episodes arrived. Now, on October 3, 2022, the final batch of 8 episodes is expected to arrive.

    What was the surprise factor?

    Out of nowhere in the year 2020, the announcement was made by AMC that the series will come to an end with its eleventh season. This was no less than a shock for the cast members and everyone. It took some time for the news to sink in after fans came to know that this series is now coming to an end. As there is a Commonwealth storyline in the 11th episode, it was always expected to be the final chapter. Though some executives said that there can be a possible 12th episode of this series.

    In an interview, Ross Marquand (Aaron) the star explained that when this news came out, all the members were discussing the coming seasons. It all happened right before the members were discussing the 12th episode and beyond, this news broke and the stars realized that they are going to remain only plans.

    A Daryl-Carol show and Tales of The Walking Dead, there are two spinoff shows that are under development, AMC followed up with this announcement to calm things down. And, then came big news, the 11th and final episode will have a whopping 24 episodes, it came as a surprise for many that there will be 8 additional episodes, and how they are going to tell the whole story in the best possible way.

    Here is what Marquand said about this- It was quite satisfactory for him how AMC decided to bring the series to an end. By the end of the phone call, and the things that were told to him about the ending of the series, he became more and more excited.

    Leah (Lynn Collins) has played a crucial role, even though it was for a few episodes.

    After meeting Daryl (Norman Reedus) in the episode called  “Find Me” from the 10th season, they started to build a relationship. Once they met again in the 11th episode, it was discovered that she is a Reaper. And, once the group has defeated Reapers, he is only left with devices, will she come back? This is a question that remains a question.

    Will there be something else?

    The Walking Dead is connected to various spinoffs and related series, and this can be a good option who want to have some more content like this series.
